Infosys Technologies Ltd. announced it has signed a contract with Georgia-Pacific LLC (Georgia-Pacific), a forest and consumer products company, to implement its Supply Chain Visibility and Collaboration Suite. The project will involve deploying an Enterprise Procurement Data Warehouse that will provide standard and ad-hoc reporting, dashboard and scorecard capabilities to aid procurement professionals with a focus on contract adherence, faster time to market, and lower cost of ownership. The aim of deploying the Procurement Solution from Infosys' Supply Chain Visibility and Collaboration Suite is to reduce Georgia-Pacific's sourcing cycle time and leakages in procurement spend through better monitoring, compliance and governance mechanisms.

Infosys Technologies Ltd.'s Infosys BPO Limited, the business processing outsourcing subsidiary of the Company, announced the signing of a definitive agreement to acquire all of the outstanding interests of McCamish Systems LLC, a premier business process solutions provider, based in Atlanta, Georgia in the United States. The acquisition is expected to be completed later this year. The upfront consideration for the deal is USD38 million with up to an additional USD20 million payable to the sellers if McCamish Systems achieves certain financial targets in the future. McCamish Systems provides innovative solutions to the insurance and financial services industries leveraging their proprietary VPAS, PMACS and Deferral platforms.
