iRobot Corp. Reaffirms FY 2009 Revenue Guidance; Raises FY 2009 Earnings Guidance; Issues Q4 2009 Guidance; Earnings Guidance Below Analysts' Estimates
iRobot Corp. reaffirmed its expectations for fiscal 2009 revenue and increased its expectations for earnings per share (EPS) and adjusted EBITDA. The Company expects revenue to be in the range of $295-$305 million; adjusted EBITDA to be in the range of $15-$18 million and EPS to be in the range of $0.02-$0.06. For the fourth quarter of 2009, it expects revenue to be in the range of $98-$108 million, adjusted EBITDA to be in the range of $7-$10 million and EPS to be in the range of $0.09-$0.13. According to Reuters Estimates, analysts are expecting the Company to report EPS of $0.01, EBITDA of $16 million on revenues of $295 million for fiscal 2009; EPS of $0.16, EBITDA of $12 million on revenues of $98 million for the fourth quarter of 2009.
iRobot Corp. Announces $6.1 Million Order From the U.S. Army For Robot Spares
iRobot Corp. announced that it has received a $6.1 million order from the U.S. Army Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training, and Instrumentation (PEO STRI). This order calls for the delivery of spare parts for iRobot's PackBot line of tactical mobile robots. These robots are capable of identifying and neutralizing improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and can also be used in reconnaissance and route clearance missions. Spare parts include manipulator kits, battery packs, radios, antennas and hand controllers.
iRobot Corp. Receives Order From U.S. Army For $35.3 Million
iRobot Corp. announced that it has received an order for $35.3 million from the U.S. Army TACOM Contracting Center in Warren, Mich. This order falls under the $286 million Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) xBot contract and calls for the delivery of 486 iRobot PackBot 510 with FasTac Kit robots prior to March 31, 2010. The total contract value to date under this IDIQ is approximately $125 million.
iRobot Corp. Receives $5.1 Million Order From The U.S. Army
iRobot Corp. announced that it has received a $5.1 million order from the U.S. Army TACOM Contracting Center in Warren, Mich. This is the 11th order under the $286 million Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) xBot contract, bringing the total contract value to approximately $86 million. The xBot contract has been moved from the U.S. Army Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training, and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) to the U.S. Army TACOM Contracting Center. The order calls for the delivery of 14 iRobot PackBot 510 with FasTac Kit robots and spare parts. Spare parts include manipulator arms, cameras and ruggedized laptops.
iRobot Corp. Receives $13.5 Million NAVSEA Contract
iRobot Corp. announced that it has been awarded a $13.5 million Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract from the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) in Indian Head, Md. Under the terms of the contract, any service could order up to the full $13.5 million value in PackBot MTRS (Man Transportable Robotic System) robots, spare parts, accessories, engineering enhancements, configuration management, training and repair services. All work under the contract is set to be completed by July 2010.
