JA Solar Holdings Co., Ltd. announced that for fiscal 2009, it expects revenue to be in the range of RMB5.668 billion ($830 million), to RMB6.5 billion ($952 million). The Company also announced that its target for total production for fiscal 2009 output is 500 MW to 550 MW. According to Reuters Estimates, analysts were expecting the Company to report revenue of $775 million for fiscal 2009. 

 
JA Solar Holdings Co., Ltd. Announces Supply Agreement With BP Solar

JA Solar Holdings Co., Ltd. announced that it has signed a supply contract with BP Solar International, Inc., pursuant to the broader strategic cooperation agreement signed with BP Alternative Energy Holdings Limited, announced last November. Under this new agreement, JA Solar will supply monocrystalline and multicrystalline solar cells to BP Solar in 2009, with an initial volume of 175 MW and with the potential to expand to 360 MW. JA Solar is already delivering product under its existing supply agreement with BP.

(ADR) announced that it has updated fiscal 2009 guidance and now expects revenue to be in the range of RMB 5,668 million or $830 million, to RMB 6,500 million or $952 million. The Company's target for total production output is now 500 MW to 550 MW. According to Reuters Estimates, analysts are expecting the Company to report revenue of $956 million for fiscal 2009.

The complaint charges JA Solar and certain of its officers and directors with violations of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.
