Ltd., a semiconductor foundry, has included its ETMemory memory Built-In Self-Test (BIST) and Silicon Insight memory diagnostic solutions in TSMC's Memory development and QA procedures. ETMemory is a key component of LogicVision's Dragonfly Test Platform and provides TSMC with an advanced memory BIST IP and insertion automation solution. Silicon Insight, another Dragonfly test platform component, enables automated and interactive diagnosis and characterization of memories tested with ETMemory BIST.
Mentor Graphics Corporation And LogicVision, Inc. Sign Definitive Merger Agreement
Mentor Graphics Corporation and LogicVision, Inc. announced the two companies have signed a definitive merger agreement pursuant to which Mentor Graphics will acquire LogicVision. Under the terms of the agreement, which was approved by the Boards of Directors of both companies, LogicVision stockholders will receive 0.2006 of a share of Mentor Graphics common stock for each share of LogicVision, for aggregate consideration of approximately $13 million (as of May 7, 2009).
