MYR Group Inc. Secures Transmission Contract

MYR Group Inc. announced it has secured a $107 million contract with Dominion Virginia Power (Dominion) to construct 125 miles of 500-kilovolt (kV) transmission line in Virginia and to perform other construction services. Under the contract, The L.E. Myers Co. (L.E. Myers), an MYR subsidiary, will provide transmission line construction services, including right-of-way clearing, environmental controls, foundation installation, structure installation and conductor stringing for two new 500kV lines as well as the reconstruction of several existing transmission circuits. Construction planning for these projects has already begun and actual construction will start in early 2009.

MYR Group Inc. announced that it has received notice from the NASDAQ Stock Market that its common stock has been approved for listing on the NASDAQ Global Market. MYR's common stock will begin trading on NASDAQ under its current symbol ``MYRG'' at the market's open on Tuesday, September 9, 2008. MYR's shares will discontinue to trade on the OTC Bulletin Board effective at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, September 8, 2008.
