ON Semiconductor Issues Q4 2009 Revenue Guidance Above Analysts' Estimates
ON Semiconductor announced that for fourth quarter 2009 it expects total revenues in the range of $480 to $495 million. According to Reuters Estimates, analysts are expecting the Company to report revenue of $466 million for fourth quarter 2009.
ON Semiconductor Introduces New 256 Tap Digital Potentiometers For Control of Up To 16 Devices On One Bus
ON Semiconductor announced the availability of two new Digitally Programmable Potentiometer (DPP) ICs suitable for high accuracy and stability for variable resistance adjustment applications in a wide range of industrial and consumer products. The CAT5270 and CAT5271 are dual-channel digital potentiometers with 256 resistor taps for fine resolution adjustment and an I2C-compatible interface for maximum interoperability. The new ON Semiconductor DPPs feature a volatile wiper register, making them ideal for applications using a microcontroller (MCU) with on-chip memory for wiper recall, or for systems that do not require memory. They also provide a low-noise, reliable and space-saving alternative to mechanical potentiometers with the added benefit of immunity to dust/dirt contamination and vibration.
ON Semiconductor Launches New Series Of Thyristor Surge Protection Devices To Provide Overvoltage Protection With Minimal Signal Distortion
ON Semiconductor announced that it has introduced the NP-MC series - a new family of ultra-low capacitance Thyristor Surge Protection Devices (TSPDs) that provide protection to sensitive electronic equipment from transient overvoltage conditions. With capacitance values 40 to 50% lower than existing products on the market, the NP-MC devices provide protection with minimal signal distortion in high-speed xDSL, T1/E1 and other broadband data transmission equipment.
ON Semiconductor Issues Q3 2009 Revenue Guidance Above Analysts' Estimates
