OSI Systems, Inc.'s Security Division Announces Receipt Of Approximate $2.2 Million Contract

OSI Systems, Inc. announced its Security division, Rapiscan Systems, has been awarded a contract by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation, the mass transit system set up by the Government of India and the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, valued at approximately $2.2 million to provide advanced security screening systems for the inspection of passengers' baggage. Under the terms of the contract, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has purchased multiple Rapiscan Systems 600 series checkpoint X-ray baggage scanners to deploy in underground metro corridor and surface rail corridor stations throughout Delhi. The procurement is part of a multi-phase effort by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation to upgrade its security screening processes as its transit network expands, and was awarded following a competitive tender. 

 
OSI Systems, Inc. Receives Approximately $29 Million In Advanced Cargo And Customs Screening Contracts From U.S. Customs And Border Protection

OSI Systems, Inc. announced that its Security division, Rapiscan Systems, has received approximately $29 million in orders from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to provide multiple units of its advanced cargo and vehicle inspection solutions for customs inspections and security screening and various air and sea ports of entry. The products to be provided under the contract reflect the broad range of Rapiscan`s cargo and checkpoint inspection product line including the Rapiscan Eagle Mobile and the Rapiscan GaRDS Portal. The fixed and mobile configurations utilizing both X-ray and gamma-ray technology provide the U.S. government with a comprehensive inspection solution for the detection of a wide variety of threats and contraband. 

 
OSI Systems, Inc. Raises FY 2010 EPS Guidance; Issues FY 2010 Revenue Guidance Above Analysts' Estimates

OSI Systems, Inc. revised its fiscal 2010 guidance and expects sales to be between $620 and $640 million, representing a 10% to 15% year-over-year growth for the nine-months ending June 30, 2010 and expects non-GAAP earnings per diluted share (EPS) to increase at a rate of 25-35% to between $1.14 to $1.23, excluding the impact of restructuring and other non-recurring charges incurred in fiscal 2009. The Company also plans to achieve improved profitability for the year. According to Reuters Estimates, analysts were expecting the Company to report non-GAAP EPS of $1.11 on revenue of $610 million for fiscal 2010.

OSI Systems, Inc. announced that its Healthcare Division, Spacelabs Healthcare, has been awarded a one-year $13.5 million Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract from the U.S. Defense Supply Center Philadelphia Medical Supplier Operations Directorate to provide patient monitoring systems, sub-systems, training and consumables. 

 
OSI Systems, Inc. Announces Rapiscan Systems Receives Contract For Approximately $10 Million To Supply Security Scanning Solutions To Abu Dhabi Customs

OSI Systems, Inc. announced that its Security division, Rapiscan Systems, has been awarded an approximate $10 million contract to provide a combination of its advanced cargo, baggage and aviation security scanning equipment to support the work of Abu Dhabi customs. The contract calls for Rapiscan Systems to provide an integrated customs screening solution that leverages Rapiscan's broad product range and transmission X-ray technology. This contract will provide advanced and flexible screening systems to meet Abu Dhabi's mobile inspection, air cargo screening and baggage scanning requirements, all supported by Rapiscan's global service organization.
