Perry Ellis International Raises FY 2010 EPS Outlook; Reiterates FY 2010 Revenue Outlook
Perry Ellis International raised its fiscal 2010 EPS outlook and expects earnings per fully diluted share (EPS) to a range of $0.80-$0.95 from the previously announced $0.70-$0.85 range. It reiterated fiscal 2010 revenue outlook and expects total revenues decreasing in the low double digit range. According to Reuters Estimates, analysts were expecting the Company to report EPS of $0.81 and revenues of $760 million for the same period.
Perry Ellis International Announces New Licensing Agreements For Jantzen and ProPlayer Brands
Perry Ellis International, through its licensing affiliate PEI Licensing, Inc., announced that it has signed two new licensing agreements for its Jantzen and ProPlayer brands with MAG Brands LLC/Millennium Apparel Group (MAG Brands) and IFG Corp. (Innovative Fashion Group), respectively. Innovative Fashion Group will design, manufacture and distribute men's athletic apparel and performance underwear under the ProPlayer brand. The line will be distributed in the U.S. at sports specialty stores and mid-tier retailers starting in November of 2009. This license excludes product in the collegiate team logo market, which is covered by another PEI Licensing licensee.
Perry Ellis International Announces License Agreement With Pierre Cardin
Perry Ellis International announced that it has signed a licensing agreement with S.A.R.L. de Gestion Pierre Cardin to source, sell and distribute the Pierre Cardin brand for men`s sportswear, except for woven shirts, in the U.S., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. This is a five year agreement, starting in 2010. Perry Ellis International will distribute the brand in department stores starting next January.

According to Reuters Estimates, analysts were expecting the Company to report EPS of $0.68 for the same period.
Perry Ellis International Signs New Licensing Agreement With SG Footwear Inc.
Perry Ellis International announced that it has entered into a licensing agreement with SG Footwear Inc. to design, manufacture and distribute men's slippers under the Perry Ellis and Perry Ellis Portfolio brands. The line will be available throughout the United States and Canada and will be sold at the same distribution channel as the Perry Ellis Collection. First shipments of the line will be for the Fall 09 collection.
