Deltek Inc. announced that for fourth quarter of 2009, it expects revenue to be in the range of $65-$66 million, non-GAAP operating income to be in the range of $15-$17 million, which results in operating margin of approximately 23 to 25%, non-GAAP operating income excludes the impact of approximately $2.6 million of stock based compensation expenses and approximately $1 million of intangible amortization expenses, GAAP earnings per share (EPS) to be in the range of $0.09-$0.11 and non-GAAP EPS to be in the range of $0.12-$0.14. According to Reuters Estimates, analysts were expecting the Company to report revenue of $69 million and EBIT of $15 million and EPS of $0.13 for the same period.

Deltek Inc. announced that for the third quarter of 2009, it expects total revenue to be between $64 million and $66 million, non-GAAP operating income to be in the range of $13.5 million to $15.5 million, which represents an operating margin of approximately 21% to 23%. Non-GAAP operating income excludes the impact of approximately $2.4 million of stock-based compensation expenses and approximately $1.2 million of intangible amortization expenses. GAAP earnings per share (EPS) is expected to be in the range of $0.08 to $0.10 per share. On a non-GAAP basis, the Company expects EPS to be in the range of $0.11 to $0.13 per share. GAAP and non-GAAP EPS targets assume an effective tax rate of approximately 38% and an average share count of approximately 64.5 million shares. According to Reuters Estimates, analysts were expecting the Company to report revenue of $65 million, EBIT of $10.4 million, non-GAAP EPS of $0.108 and GAAP EPS of $0.0667 for the same period.
