Virtua Selects Quality Systems, Inc.'s NextGen EHR To Support Quality Initiatives
NextGen Healthcare Information Systems, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Quality Systems, Inc. and a provider of ambulatory healthcare and connectivity solutions announced that it has entered into an agreement with Virtua, a multi-hospital healthcare system headquartered in Marlton, NJ, for the deployment of NextGen EHR (Electronic Health Record). Starting immediately, the NextGen EHR product will be implemented across the Virtua Medical Group network, which currently consists of providers practicing at 23 locations.

Rockingham Memorial Hospital Selects Quality Systems, Inc.'s NextGen Healthcare Information Systems, Inc.
NextGen Healthcare Information Systems, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Quality Systems, Inc., announced that it has entered into an agreement with Rockingham Memorial Hospital, an independent community hospital that serves a seven-county area in Virginia, for the deployment of NextGen CHS (Community Health Solution), NextGen EHR (Electronic Health Record), NextGen EPM (Enterprise Practice Management) and NextGen ICS (Image Control System). NextGen technology will be implemented across the entire Rockingham Memorial ambulatory enterprise. The first phase - which includes the implementation of NextGen EPM - will start in September 2009, with subsequent implementations of NextGen CHS and NextGen EHR scheduled for early 2010.

Under the agreement, the QSI Dental Division will offer NEA's FastAttach functionality along with specific QSI software enhancements to its dental clients, affording them the opportunity to process electronic claims more quickly and efficiently.
