Rural/Metro Corporation announced that it has been awarded a new long-term contract to continue providing exclusive emergency ambulance services to the City of Youngstown, Ohio. The four-year contract term began September 1, 2009, following a unanimous vote of the Youngstown Board of Control. The contract is expected to generate approximately $3.8 million in net revenue annually.

Rural/Metro Corporation announced that it has once again been awarded the exclusive contract as the City of San Diego's partner in the provision of emergency ambulance services. The contract is expected to generate approximately $32.0 million in net revenue annually from emergency ambulance services. The initial contract term of five years is scheduled to begin on January 1, 2010, followed by one five-year optional renewal term thereafter, for a total possible contract length of 10 years. 

 
Rural/Metro Corporation Announces Award of Contract To Continue Fire And EMS Services To Mountain Vista Fire District In Arizona

Rural/Metro Corporation announced that it has been awarded a new contract term to continue providing fire protection and emergency medical services to the Mountain Vista Fire District in Southern Arizona. The contract term began July 1, 2009 for an initial period of five years, followed by two two year renewal options, for a total possible length of nine years. The contract is expected to generate approximately $2.7 million in net revenue annually.
