EchoStar Satellite Services L.L.C., a wholly owned subsidiary of EchoStar Corporation, announced an agreement to deliver its ViP-TV video transport service to telecommunications provider North Penn Telephone Company. North Penn will receive transport of up to 49 IP-encapsulated high definition TV channels and up to 50 music channels to its IP headend.

We are pleased that the district court rejected Tivo's request to award a billion dollars in sanctions and that it found that any violation of the injunction was not willful. While we disagree that any amount of sanctions was warranted, the decision confirms our belief that we designed around Tivo's patent in good faith. We believe that we ultimately will prevail on appeal.

EchoStar Satellite Services, a division of Echostar Corporation announced an agreement to deliver its ViP-TV video transport service to Ringgold Telephone Company (RTC), a provider of converged communications to more than 11,000 access lines in northern Georgia. Ringgold will receive transport of up to 42 popular high definition TV channels to its IP headend.
