Silicon Image, Inc. announced that for fiscal 2009, it expects GAAP net loss in the range of approximately $145 to $150 million. For the fourth quarter of 2009, the Company expects revenues to be $34 to $37 million. For fiscal 2010, the Company expects to be able to break even with approximately $165 million in revenue. According to Reuters Estimates, analysts on an average were expecting the Company to report GAAP net loss of $63 million for fiscal 2009; revenue of $38 million for the fourth quarter of 2009; and loss per share of $0.08 on revenue of $162 million for fiscal 2010;

Silicon Image, Inc. Lowers Q4 2008 Revenue Guidance; Comments On FY 2009 EBIT Guidance

Silicon Image, Inc. updated its guidance for the fourth quarter 2008. Revenue for the fourth quarter 2008 is currently expected to be in the range of $56-$58 million. The Company's previous guidance for fourth quarter 2008 revenue was in the range of $68-$69 million. For fiscal 2009, the Company expects continue to be profitable at the operating profit level, excluding stock based compensation expense and amortization of intangible assets in every quarter. According to Reuters Estimates, analysts were expecting the Company to report revenue of $67 million for the fourth quarter 2008; EBIT of $$5.5 million for fiscal 2009.
