Sierra Wireless, Inc. announced that for the fourth quarter of 2009, it expects consolidated non-GAAP revenue of $143.0 million, earnings (loss) from operations of $6.0 million, net earnings of $5.2 million and earnings per share (EPS) of $0.17. According to Reuters Estimates, analysts were expecting the Company to report revenue of $145.9 million, EBIT of $0.2, net profit of $4.7 million and EPS of $0.15 for the fourth quarter of 2009.

MobiPower Aelects Sierra Wireless, Inc. For Asset Protection Solution

Sierra Wireless, Inc. and MobiPower announced their agreement to collaborate in the development of stolen vehicle recovery and asset protection solutions based on Sierra Wireless embedded cellular modules. The brain of the device is to be a Sierra Wireless WMP100 Wireless Microprocessor, which hosts an Open AT application and communicates information via cellular connection to the Internet, enabling remote monitoring of vehicles and other personal property. 

 
Vodacom Launches Tracking SIM Card Using Sierra Wireless, Inc.'s inSIM Technology

Sierra Wireless, Inc. announced that Vodacom has launched a SIM card for vehicle tracking, based on the inSIM technology from Sierra Wireless. The inSIM embedded SIM component was designed and developed by Wavecom, now part of Sierra Wireless. This new technology will be deployed by Vodacom and will be used by Tracker, South Africa's leading stolen vehicle recovery and fleet management company. Vodacom provides Tracker with its network services. 

 
ORBCOMM Inc. Selects Sierra Wireless, Inc. To Deliver Subscription And Device Management Capabilities For M2M Web Services Platform

ORBCOMM Inc. and Sierra Wireless, Inc. announced that they have entered into an agreement to integrate capabilities of Sierra Wireless's M2M services platform (M2MOperatingPortal) within ORBCOMM's web services portal to enable customers to control their M2M services, devices, and communications. ORBCOMM's web services portal, expected to be commercially released in the first quarter of 2010, will combine comprehensive subscriber management functions with many capabilities for device management.
