Tetra Tech Inc. Secures $63 Million USAID Engineering Support Program In Afghanistan
Tetra Tech Inc. announced that it has been awarded a $63 million task order to provide architect/engineering (A/E) services for the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) in support of sustainable infrastructure development programs in Afghanistan. This five year program is Tetra Tech`s first major award under the USAID global A/E infrastructure services contract announced in October 2008. Working with the USAID Office of Infrastructure, Engineering, and Energy, Tetra Tech will identify, plan, design, and provide engineering support for urban and rural water supply and sanitation systems; vertical structures including schools and government facilities; power transmission and generation projects; and transportation systems, among other development-related projects nationwide.

Tetra Tech Inc. announced that for the first quarter of 2010, it expects diluted earnings per share (EPS) to be in the range of $0.28 to $0.30 and revenue, net of subcontractor costs, to range from $330 to $345 million. For fiscal 2010, the Company expects diluted EPS to be $1.25 to $1.35 and revenue, net of subcontractor costs, to range from $1.45 to $1.55 billion. According to Reuters Estimates, analysts on an average were expecting the Company to report EPS of $0.30 on revenue of $349 million for the first quarter of 2010; EPS of $1.36 on revenue of $1.52 billion for fiscal 2010.
Tetra Tech Inc. Wins $69 Million in Sustainable Water Projects with USAID
Tetra Tech Inc. announced that it has been awarded two new task orders to lead sustainable water projects in rural Afghanistan and sub-Saharan Africa. The task orders will be executed under a U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Water IQC II contract held by ARD, Inc., a Tetra Tech company. The combined ceiling values of these two task orders, including option years, is more than $69 million. USAID has obligated about $20 million worth of funding for these efforts to date.
Tetra Tech Inc.'s TtEC-Tesoro Joint Venture Wins $500 Million National Design Build Contract With U.S. Coast Guard
Tetra Tech Inc. announced that the TtEC-Tesoro Joint Venture was awarded a National Multiple Award Construction Contract (NMACC) with the U.S. Coast Guard that has a ceiling up to $500 million. The new contract will be used to execute construction and design-build projects at U.S. Coast Guard installations and U.S. Department of Homeland Security facilities across the United States and U.S. territories. The NMACC may include a variety of operational, waterfront, housing, and medical facilities, among other projects. Four other contractors were each awarded contracts with $500 million ceilings under this $2.5 billion total capacity, seven year, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract.
Tetra Tech Inc. Gets $13.1 Million Navy Sanitary Sewer Deal-AP
The Associated Press reported that Tetra Tech Inc. received a $13.1 million contract from the Navy for a sanitary sewer system, storm drain removal, and other services at Hunters Point Shipyard, the Pentagon said. Work will be performed in San Francisco and is expected to be completed by March 2011. The task order also contains five options, which if exercised would increase the contract's value to $14.7 million.
