VistaPrint NV announced that for second quarter of 2010, it expects revenue of approximately $167-$175 million, GAAP diluted earnings per share (EPS) of approximately $0.43-$0.48 and non-GAAP adjusted net income per diluted share of approximately $0.55-$0.60, which excludes expected share-based compensation expense and its related tax effect of approximately $5.4 million. For fiscal 2010, the Company expects revenue of approximately $615-$645 million, GAAP diluted EPS of approximately $1.39-$1.49 and non-GAAP adjusted net income per diluted share of approximately $1.85-$1.95, which excludes expected share-based compensation expense and its related tax effect of approximately $22.0 million. According to Reuters Estimates, analysts were expecting the Company to report revenues of $169 million and EPS of $0.58 for second quarter of 2010; revenues of $629 million and EPS of $1.93 for fiscal 2010.
VistaPrint Limited Announces Dismissal of Federal Class Action Lawsuit
VistaPrint Limited announced that the purported class action lawsuit pending against VistaPrint USA, Inc., Vistaprint Limited and two third party merchants in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas, has been dismissed by the Court. The plaintiffs' consolidated complaint in the lawsuit alleged that the defendants had violated the Electronic Funds Transfer Act, the Electronic Communications Privacy Act, and the Massachusetts Unfair Trade Practices Act in connection with certain third party membership discount programs offered to Vistaprint customers on Vistaprint.com. The complaint also sought recovery for certain common law claims including unjust enrichment and money had and received. On August 18, 2009, the plaintiffs voluntarily dismissed Vistaprint Limited from the case. On August 31, 2009, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas dismissed all remaining claims against VistaPrint USA, Inc.
