Mr. Marc J. Shapiro is an Independent Director of Kimberly-Clark Corporation. Mr. Shapiro retired in 2003 as Vice Chairman of JPMorgan Chase & Co., a financial services company. Before becoming Vice Chairman of JPMorgan Chase & Co. in 1997, Mr. Shapiro was Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Chase Bank of Texas, a wholly-owned subsidiary of JPMorgan Chase & Co., from 1989 until 1997. He now serves as a consultant to JPMorgan Chase & Co. and as non-executive Chairman of its Texas operations. Mr. Shapiro serves on the boards of the Baylor College of Medicine, the Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center Hospital, the Menninger Clinic, the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center and the Baker Institute at Rice University.
