Peltz, Nelson 

Mr. Nelson Peltz is an Independent Director of the Company. He has served as Chief Executive Officer and Founding Partner of Trian Fund Management, L.P. (“Trian”), an alternative investment management firm, since November 2005. He also served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Triarc Companies, Inc. (now known as The Wendy’s Company), a holding company for various consumer and industrial businesses, from April 1993 to June 2007, and has served as its non-executive Chairman since June 2007. Prior to that, Mr. Peltz served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Trian Group, Limited Partnership, which provided investment banking and management services to entities controlled by Mr. Peltz and Peter May, from January 1989 to April 1993 and as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Triangle Industries, Inc., a manufacturer of packaging products, from 1983 to December 1988. Mr. Peltz has extensive investment, financial and leadership experience as Trian’s Chief Executive Officer and as non-executive Chairman (and formerly as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer) of The Wendy’s Company, working with management teams and boards of directors, as well as in acquiring, investing in and building companies and has strong relationships with institutional investors, investment banking/capital markets advisors and others that can be drawn upon for the Company’s benefit. Mr. Peltz brings considerable experience in the food and beverage and consumer products industry through his service on the board of directors of H.J. Heinz Company, Sysco Corporation and The Wendy’s Company.
