He retired as an Independent Director and Chairman of audit committee of China Vanke Co., Ltd, a company listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, and was appointed as a consultant of that Company on 31 March 2011. He was appointed to the Board of Directors as Independent Non-executive Director on 1 June 2007.
