People: Ameris Bancorp (ABCB.O)

Mr. J. Raymond Fulp is Independent Director of Ameris Bancorp. He is as a director of the Bank since February 2006. Mr. Fulp served as a director and Chairman of the Board of Citizens Security Bank, formerly a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, from 1987 and 2000, respectively, and until the merger of Citizens Security Bank into the Bank in 2006. He also currently serves as Chairman of the Bank’s community board in Tifton, Georgia. He is a pharmacist and was the co-owner of Midtown Pharmacy in Tifton, Georgia from 1974 until its sale in 1999. He received a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from the University of Georgia.
