People: Adtran Inc (ADTN.O)

Mr. Bolton has been appointed as Vice President - Global Marketing of ADTRAN, Inc. He joins ADTRAN from Hatteras Networks where he served as vice president of Marketing and Product Line Management. In his new role, Bolton is responsible for development and implementation of all marketing initiatives across the company. His efforts is focusing on growing market penetration of the company's key product lines. Prior to joining Hatteras, Bolton served as vice president of Broadband Access Marketing for Ciena Corporation and had previously served as vice president of Product Marketing and Product Management for Catena Networks, which was acquired by Ciena in May 2004. Bolton's career also includes 15 years of service with Nortel Networks in various management roles including Marketing, Product Line Management and Engineering. He holds an MBA from Duke University and a BS in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University.
