People: African Eagle Resources PLC (AEAJ.J)

Ambassador Paul Milyango Rupia has been appointed as Independent Non-Executive Director of African Eagle Resources Plc., with effect from 27 July 2012. He is an internationally known and well respected Tanzanian statesman withover 49 years’ experience in the Tanzanian public service. He twice represented Tanzania as Ambassador to the United Nations, was Ambassador to Ethiopia and Deputy High Commissioner to the United Kingdom and also served his country as a Member of Parliament, Chief Secretary to the President’s Office, Secretary to the Cabinet, Head of the Civil Services and Principal Secretary to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Ambassador Rupia holds the Order for the United Republic and resides on various charitable boards including Chairman of DCB Commercial Bank PLC, Chairman of the Britain- Tanzania Society and St John’s University of Tanzania.
