Mr. Michael E. Maroone is President, Chief Operating Officer, Director of Autonation Inc. Following acquisition of the Maroone Automotive Group in January 1997, Mr. Maroone served as President of New Vehicle Dealer Division. In January 1998, Mr. Maroone was named President of Automotive Retail Group with responsibility for new and used vehicle operations. Prior to joining AutoNation, Mr. Maroone was President and Chief Executive Officer of the Maroone Automotive Group, one of the country’s privately-held automotive retail groups prior to its acquisition by the Company.
