Mr. Carlos Espinosa de los Monteros Bernaldo de Quiros has served as Independent Member of the Board of Directors of Acciona SA since June 29, 1994. He acts as Member of the Audit and Executive Committees of the Company. He was Vice Chairman of the INI and Chairman of Iberia and Aviaco and of the Circle of Business. He has acted as Chairman and Managing Director of Mercedes-Benz Espana SA and the Fraternidad Muprespa (mutual benefit association for accidents at work). He has also served as Deputy Vice Chairman of Inditex. He holds degrees in Law and Business Administration from Universidad Pontificia Comillas and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Northwestern University.
