Mr. David Slackman has served as Lead Independent Director of Asta Funding, Inc. since June 9, 2008. He has also served as Director of Asta Funding, Inc. since May 2002. Mr. Slackman has served as Managing Director at HT Capital Advisors LLC from August 2008 to present. Mr. Slackman served as President, Manhattan Market - New York of Commerce Bank from March 2001 through June 2008. Prior to March 2001, Mr. Slackman was an Executive Vice President of Atlantic Bank of New York from 1994 to 2001 and a Senior Vice President of the Dime Savings Bank from 1986 to 1994.
