Mr. Davis Zhang is President - China Operations of AXT, Inc. He co-founded AXT in 1986. He was appointed as President of China Operations on October 26, 2009. He was president, joint venture operations, and had served as senior vice president, production from January 1994 until August 1999, as president of the substrate division from August 1999 to 2003 and as senior vice president of production from 2003 to October 2009. From 1987 to 1993, Mr. Zhang served as senior production manager. Mr. Zhang studied mechanical engineering at Communication University, Beijing, China.
