Mr. Timothy A. Johnson serves as Chief Financial Officer, Senior Vice President of Big Lots Inc. He is responsible for financial reporting and controls, financial planning and analysis, treasury, risk management, tax, internal audit, and investor relations disciplines. He was promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in August 2012 when he assumed the additional responsibilities of treasury and risk management. He was promoted to Senior Vice President of Finance in July 2011 after serving as Vice President of Strategic Planning and Investor Relations since January 2004. He joined company in August 2000 as Director of Strategic Planning. Prior to joining company, Mr. Johnson held various positions of increasing responsibility at The Limited, Inc, culminating in his last position as Director of Financial Reporting for Structure, a former division of The Limited, Inc., an apparel retailer. He earned his CPA while working at Coopers & Lybrand and holds a bachelor's degree in business with an accounting major from Miami University.
