Coppersmith, S. James
Brief Biography
S. James Coppersmith has been a director of BJ’s Wholesale Club Inc. since July 1997. He was a director of Waban Inc., BJ’s former parent company, from December 1993 to July 1997. Mr. Coppersmith is the retired president of ABC affiliate WCVB-TV Channel 5 in Boston and is a director and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Rasky Baerlein Group, a public relations firm. Mr. Coppersmith is Chair of BJ’s Executive Compensation Committee and a member of the Audit, Corporate Governance and Executive Committees.
