Dr. Laurie H. Glimcher, M.D., is Independent Director of Bristol-Myers Squibb Company. She has been the President and Chief Executive Officer of Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Inc. since October 2016. She has also served as Principal Investigator and Director of the Dana Farber/Harvard Cancer Center and as the Susan Smith Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School since December 2016. Dr. Glimcher served as the Stephen and Suzanne Weiss Dean of Weill Cornell Medical College and the Cornell University Provost for Medical Affairs from January 2012 to September 2016. She was the Irene Heinz Given Professor of Immunology at the Harvard School of Public Health and Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School from 1990 to December 2011. Dr. Glimcher is a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, a member of the National Academy of Sciences and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Biology (in the UK). She is the former President of the American Association of Immunologists and serves as a member of the American Asthma Foundation, Cancer Research Institute and Prix Galien Scientific Advisory Boards and the Lasker Award Jury. Dr. Glimcher is also a member of the American Association for Cancer Research, Association of American Cancer Institutes, and the American Society of Clinical Oncology. She is also a Director of the Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy.
