Brief Biography

Mr. Bruno de Laage has served as Member of the Management Committee and Executive Committee and as Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Head of Retail Banking Activities, Specialized Financial Services and payment systems and flows of Credit Agricole SA since March 1, 2010. Before that, he held the post of Member of the Company's Board of Directors from May 17, 2006, to March 1, 2010. He was a Member of the Company's Strategic Committee. Mr. de Laage joined Credit Agricole de la Charente in 1978 where he held several positions, including Head of lending and Head of the corporate and small business market. In 1990, he moved to Credit Agricole du Loiret as Deputy Chief Executive Officer. In 1995, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Credit Agricole de la Sarthe, then from 2000, CEO of Credit Agricole de l’Anjou et du Maine. Since 2006, Mr. de Laage has served as a Director and member of the Strategy Committee of Credit Agricole SA and Deputy Secretary General of Federation Nationale du Credit Agricole. He is the Chairman of Vegepolys and was Chairman of John Deere Credit from 2003 to 2008. He also holds other mandates, including Chairman of Credit Agricole Consumer Finance and Uni Editions, Vice Chairman of Banco Espirito Santo, and Director of LCL, BforBank, Credit Agricole Creditor Insurance and Emporiki Bank, among others. Mr. de Laage graduated from Hautes Etudes Commerciales and INSEAD.
