Enright, Patrick 

Brief Biography

Mr. Patrick G. Enright serves as Independent Director of Corcept Therapeutics Inc., since April 2008. He is a founder of Longitude Capital Management Co., LLC, a venture capital firm focused on investments in biotechnology and has served as its Managing Director since 2007. From 2002 through 2006, Mr. Enright was a Managing Director of Pequot Ventures where he co-led the life sciences investment practice. Prior to Pequot, he was a Managing Member responsible for the Delta Opportunity Fund, where he invested in privately-held and publicly-traded biotechnology companies, such as SUGEN, Inc. and Cephalon, Inc. Mr. Enright began his investment career at PaineWebber Development Corporation, a direct investment group focused primarily on biotechnology companies. Mr. Enright also has life sciences operations experience. He was Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President Business Development of Valentis, Inc. (now Urigen Pharmaceuticals, Inc.) and Senior Vice President Finance and Business Development of Boehringer Mannheim Pharmaceuticals (now F. Hoffmann-La Roche. Ltd.). Mr. Enright began his life sciences career 24 years ago at Sandoz (now Novartis AG). He currently serves on the Boards of a number of privately-held companies, including Infacare Pharmaceutical Corporation and Xanodyne Pharmaceuticals, Inc., as well as Jazz Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a publicly traded pharmaceutical company. Within the last five years, Mr. Enright has served on the Boards of publicly-traded companies, including Threshold Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Sequenom, Inc., Valentis, Inc. (now Urigen Pharmaceuticals, Inc.), Codexis, Inc. and MAP Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Mr. Enright received his M.B.A. from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and his B.S. in Biological Sciences from Stanford University.
