Mr. Claudio Borin Guedes Palaia serves as Director of CPFL Energia SA. Since 2008, he has been Director of Camargo Correa Cimentos, in charge for the Concrete Division. He worked as M&A Analyst at JP Morgan Bank in Sao Paulo and in New York from 1997 to 1998. From 2002 and 2005, he was Project Leader in different companies of the Camargo Correa Group, such as Camargo Correa Energia SA, Camargo Correa SA and Sao Paulo Alpargatas. From 2005 to 2007, he was a director of Hormigon da Loma Negra CIASA in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is Effective Member of the Board of Directors of Sao Paulo Alpargatas. In 2009, he was Alternate Member of the Board of Directors of the Company. He graduated in Business Administration from Fundacao Getulio Vargas (FGV) in 1997 and obtained an MBA degree from Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania in 2002.
