Thomas Cole is Vice President - Business Development of Ceradyne, Inc. He joined Ceradyne in July 2007 upon the company’s acquisition of Minco, where he served as its chief executive officer since 2000. In March 2008, Mr. Cole was appointed by Ceradyne to the newly created position of Vice President Business Development. In this position, Mr. Cole is responsible for a wide range of strategic duties including acquisitions, strategic expansion and ad hoc corporate activities. Prior to his employment at Minco, Mr. Cole held management positions with Corhart Refractories, a venture of Corning. He earned his B.S. degree with honors at New York State College of Ceramic Engineering, Alfred University and his M.B.A. degree from the University of Buffalo.
