Brief Biography
Mr. William C. Morris is an Independent Chairman of the Board of Carbo Ceramics, Inc. From December 1988 until November 2008, he served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of J. & W. Seligman & Co. Incorporated (a New York-based investment advisory firm); Chairman of the Board of Tri-Continental Corporation; and Chairman of each of the investment companies in the Seligman Group of Funds. Mr. Morris retired as a Director of Kerr-McGee Corporation in 2003.
