Weissman, Robert 

Mr. Robert Evan Weissman is an Independent Director of Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation. Mr. Weissman was elected to our Board of Directors in May 2001. He retired in 2001 after nearly thirty years serving as Chief Executive Officer of several public corporations. Most recently, he was Chairman of the Board of Directors of IMS Health, a provider of information to the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. He served as both Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of IMS Health from 1998 to 1999. Prior to his position with IMS Health, he was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Cognizant Corporation and, prior to that, was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Dun & Bradstreet Corporation. Prior to his election as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Dun & Bradstreet Corporation in 1995, he held the position of Chief Operating Officer of that company from 1985. He joined The Dun & Bradstreet Corporation in May 1979, when The Dun & Bradstreet Corporation acquired National CSS, a computer time-sharing company, of which he was President and Chief Executive Officer. Since his retirement, Mr. Weissman has been active as Chairman of Shelburne Partners, a private investment company that works with emerging companies in the United States and Europe. He has previously served on the Board of Directors of State Street Corporation and Pitney Bowes, Inc. Mr. Weissman graduated from Babson College in 1964. He serves on Babson’s Board of Trustees and received an honorary Doctor of Law degree from Babson in 1995.
