Mr. Rajeev Mehta serves as Group Chief Executive - Industries and Markets of Cognizant Technology Solutions Corp., since February 6, 2012. In this role, From August 2006 to February 2012, he served as Company's Chief Operating Officer, Global Client Services. Mr. Mehta, who joined Cognizant in 1997, most recently served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Company's Financial Services Business Unit, a position he held from June 2005 to August 2006. From November 2001 to June 2005, he served as Company's Vice President and General Manager of Company's Financial Services Business Unit. From January 1998 to November 2001, Mr. Mehta served as Company's Director of the U.S. Central Region. Mr. Mehta served as Company's Senior Manager of Business Development from January 1997 to January 1998. Prior to joining Cognizant in 1997, Mr. Mehta was involved in implementing GE Information Services offshore outsourcing program and also held consulting positions at Deloitte & Touche and Andersen Consulting. Mr. Mehta holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland and a Master of Business Administration degree from Carnegie Mellon University.
