Brief Biography
Rachel A. Seifert serves as Senior Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel of Community Health Systems Inc. She joined Community Health Systems Inc. in January 1998 as Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel. From 1992 to 1997, she was Associate General Counsel of Columbia/HCA Healthcare Corporation and became Vice President-Legal Operations in 1994. Prior to joining Columbia/HCA in 1992, she was in private practice in Dallas, Texas. Ms. Seifert is a member of the board of directors of the Federation of American Hospitals and chairs its audit, ethics, compliance and administrative affairs committee.
