Mr. Juergen Fitschen has been Member of the Group Executive Committee, Member of the Management Board and Global Head of Regional Management at Deutsche Bank AG since April 1, 2009. He joined the Management Board of Deutsche Bank in March 2001 but stood down in 2002 to serves on the Group Executive Committee as Head of Global Banking. He has also been Chairman of the Supervisory Board of DB Overseas Finance Deutschland AG. Mr. Fitschen joined Deutsche Bank (Asia) in 1987. He held various positions, including General Manager of the Bangkok Branch, and General Manager for Japan. In 1993, he became Executive Director of the regional head office in Singapore. In 1997, Mr. Fitschen became divisional board member for Corporates and Real Estate, and in 1998 became a Divisional Board Member for Global Corporates and Institutions, located in London. From 1975 to 1986, Mr. Fitschen worked at Citibank, ultimately serving as Member of the Executive Management Board responsible for Financial Institutions and International Trade Services in Germany. Mr. Fitschen’s educational history includes studies in economics and business administration. He graduated from the University of Hamburg. He also completed an apprenticeship in the wholesale and import/export business.
