Mr. Eric Guerlain has served as Independent Member and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Christian Dior SA since June 29, 1994. He is also Chairman of the Company's Audit and Performance Committee and the Nominating and Compensation Committee. He began his career as a Financial Analyst and served in various roles with the Morgan Stanley Group between 1968 and 1974, in New York and Paris. In 1974, he joined J.P. Morgan as Director of the international financial affairs department. In 1979, the bank assigned him to co-lead J.P. Morgan Ltd. Investment Bank in London as Vice Chairman. He then worked at Lazard Brothers Ltd as a consultant until 1989. At the same time, since 1970 he has been Director of Societe Guerlain SA and, in 1990, assumed the Chairmanship of the Supervisory Board of the controlling holding company of the Guerlain Group and served in that position until 1994.
