From 1990 until its sale to CCS Income Trust in May 2006, he was President, director and part owner of Grizzly Well Servicing Inc. and related companies (private oilfield service companies operating drilling and service rigs in Western Canada). He is also a director of a number of private companies. His education includes - Bachelor of Commerce (University of Alberta). He is a Chartered Accountant.
