Dr. Patrick T. Mooney, M.D., is Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of Echo Therapeutics, Inc., since June 19, 2009. Dr. Mooney was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors. Dr. Mooney was a Senior Biotechnology Analyst at Thomas Weisel Partners, LLC, a full service merchant banking firm, and a Senior Biotechnology Analyst at Janney Montgomery Scott, LLC, a full services investment banking firm. He graduated from the Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University and trained as a surgical resident at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Dr. Mooney currently serves on the Board of Directors of Metastat, a cancer therapy company, to which he was appointed in March 2012. From June to September 2010, Dr. Mooney was a member of the Board of Directors of Quantrx Biomedical Corporation, a healthcare diagnostics company.
