Mr. Pierre Lederer has been the Special Advisor to the Chairman & CEO of Electricite de France SA since September 2012 and is also a Member of the Company's Executive Committee and Management Committee. He previously served as Group Senior Executive Vice President in charge of Customers Sales and a Member of the Executive Committee of Electricite de France SA from February 1, 2009 and became a Group Senior Executive Vice President in charge of Customers, Optimization and Trading and Member of the Company's Executive Committee and Management Committee in 2010. He holds a degree in Physical Science and Mathematics. Mr. Lederer joined EDF in 1974, where he has held a variety of posts in the General Economic Studies Department, the Energy Transmission Department and the Thermal Generation Department. He was appointed Head of the General Economic Studies Department in 1992, Head of Corporate Strategy in 1996, then Director of "Strategy-Promotion-Optimization" at the Group's Industry Unit in 1999. In 2000, he joined the Executive Board of EnBW, then 45% owned by EDF, and became Vice President of the Management Board in 2007 and Chief Operating Officer.
