Ms. Marie-Christine Lepetit has been a Representative of the French Government on the Board of Directors of Electricite de France SA since May 7, 2012. She is also a Member of the Nuclear Commitments Monitoring Committee, Ethics Committee and Strategy Committee of the Company. She is a graduate of Ecole Polytechnique and Ecole Nationale d’Administration. In 1987, she joined the public finance auditing body, where she held audit and advisory roles. In 1991, she joined the Tax Management Office and was in charge of management control. In January 1995, she joined the staff of Prime Minister Alain Juppe as Technical Advisor on fiscal and macroeconomic studies and then on small and medium businesses fiscal affairs until 1997. She then pursued her career within the Tax Management Office to improve service quality. She was appointed as Director of Fiscal Legislation within the Ministry of Economy and Finance in January 2004 and was in charge of fiscal reform until 2012. At the same time, she co-chaired the work group in charge of welfare financing reform in 2006 and co-signed a report on climate and energy contribution. She also took part in the Committee for local authorities’ reform as Associate Director and was a Member of the Commission on public life code of conduct that was chaired by Lionel Jospin. Ms. Lepetit currently serves as Head of the Public Finance Auditing body within the e Ministry for the Economy and Finance as of March 12, 2012.
