Brief Biography

Mr. Jacob Wallenberg has served as Deputy Chairman of the Board of Ericsson since April 13, 2011. He is Member of the Finance Committee of the Company. He also serves as Board Chairman of Investor AB, Deputy Board Chairman of SAS AB and SEB Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB (SEB), as well as Board member of ABB Ltd, The Coca-Cola Company, The Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation and Stockholm School of Economics. His principal work experience includes positions such as Chairman of the Board of Investor AB since 2005. He has experience in banking and finance, including experience from the commercial banks JP Morgan, New York and SEB. He was appointed as President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of SEB in 1997 and served as Chairman of SEB’s Board of Directors from 1998 until 2005. He served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Investor AB (1990-1993). He has also been Honorary Chairman of IBLAC (Mayor of Shanghai’s International Business Leaders Advisory Council) and a member of The European Round Table of Industrialists. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and is Officer of the Reserve in the Swedish Navy.
