People: Energy Transfer Equity LP (ETE)

Mr. K. Rick Turner is Independent Director of LE GP LLC, General Partner of Energy Transfer Equity LP., since October 2002. Mr. Turner is a private equity executive with several groups after having recently retired from the Stephens’ entities, which he had worked for since 1983. He first became a private equity principal in 1990 after serving as the Assistant to the Chairman, Jackson T. Stephens. His areas of focus have been oil and gas exploration, natural gas gathering, processing industries, and power technology. Prior to joining Stephens, he was employed by Peat, Marwick, Mitchell and Company. Mr. Turner currently serves as a director of North American Energy Partners Inc., AmeriGas and PMI, LLC. Mr. Turner has served as a director of the company General Partner since October 2002. Mr. Turner earned his B.S.B.A. from the University of Arkansas and is a non-practicing Certified Public Accountant.
