Brief Biography
Mr. Gary A. Meeks is Vice Chairman, Chief Risk Officer of EverBank Financial Corporation. He has been involved in the mortgage banking industry since 1973 and is a Certified Mortgage Banker. Mr. Meeks joined the Company’s predecessor company in 1989 as President and Chief Executive Officer, having previously served in that capacity for Numerica Financial Services, Inc. Prior to entering the mortgage banking industry, Mr. Meeks was an officer in the U.S. Air Force from 1969 to 1972, where he attained the rank of Captain. Mr. Meeks received a B.B.A. and an M.B.A. from the University of Georgia.
