Mr. Karl D. Triebes is Executive Vice President - Product Development, Chief Technical Officer of F5 Networks, Inc., since August 2004. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Triebes served as Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Engineering of Foundry Networks, Inc. from January 2003 to August 2004. From June 2001 to January 2003, he served as Foundry’s Vice President of Hardware Engineering. From May 2000 to June 2001, Mr. Triebes was Vice President of Engineering at Alcatel U.S.A., a telecommunications company. From December 1999 to May 2000, he was Assistant Vice President of Newbridge Networks Corp., a networking company acquired by Alcatel. Mr. Triebes holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from San Diego State University.
