Mr. Christopher Brown has served as Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Finisar Corporation since the completion of the Optium merger in August 2008. Mr. Brown served as Optium’s General Counsel and Vice President of Corporate Development from August 2006 through the completion of the merger. Prior to that, Mr. Brown was a partner at the law firm of Goodwin Procter LLP from January 2005 to August 2006, and a partner at the law firm of McDermott, Will & Emery from January 2003 to January 2005. Mr. Brown holds a B.A. in Economics and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and a J.D. from Boston College Law School.
