Ms. Theresa Backes has been appointed as President, Chief Operating Officer of Francesca's Holdings Corp., effective as of January 1, 2013. Until then she served as Chief Operating Officer, Executive Vice President of the company. She has served as the Chief Operating Officer since 2007. Prior to joining the Company, from 2004 to 2007, Ms. Backes was the Vice President, Store Operations of David’s Bridal. From 2002 to 2004, Ms. Backes was the Senior Director, Store Operations, at Banana Republic. Ms. Backes graduated from Arizona State University in 1981 and attended the Executive Education Program in Retail Finance at the University of Michigan and Leadership Studies program at the Aspen Institute.
