Brief Biography
Mr. Raymond G. Romano is Executive Vice President , Chief Credit Officer of Freddie Mac since April 2009. Prior to this appointment, he served as Senior Vice President — Chief Credit Officer from December 2008 until March 2009 and as acting Chief Credit Officer from September 2008 until December 2008. Before being appointed Chief Credit Officer, Mr. Romano served as the Senior Vice President — Credit Risk Oversight at Freddie Mac, a position he held since March 2004. Prior to that, Mr. Romano served as Senior Vice President and Chief Credit Risk Officer and other executive positions at different major financial institutions including North American Mortgage Company in Tampa, Dime Savings Bank of NY, and with Citicorp’s Investment Bank.
